Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for projects. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to perform and validate test cases based on quality requirements and recommend changes to predetermined quality guidelines. You will ensure that the end product meets the minimum quality standards and is fully functional and user-friendly.
To be successful as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you should demonstrate strong attention to detail and have analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate must be able to interpret and implement quality assurance standards and provide accurate and comprehensive feedback to colleagues.
Job Description:
We seek a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing comprehensive test strategies to ensure our applications meet the highest quality standards. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll drive testing initiatives to identify and resolve issues, ensuring our products are fully functional, user-friendly, and aligned with quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and optimize automated test cases for front-end and back-end applications.
- Write unit, integration, and functional UI tests across various frameworks and languages.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated test coverage into the release pipeline.
- Design and maintain automated test suites, ensuring reliability and performance standards.
- Identify and resolve defects in development and production environments.
- Implement and monitor preventive and corrective actions to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Draft and update quality assurance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Investigate product issues and customer feedback to improve quality continuously.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry quality requirements.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science, information systems or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a SDET or Test automation engineer.
- Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience testing RESTful API through Postman or similar tools.
- Experience with automated UI/GUI testing using Selenium or a similar framework.
- Knowledge of our specific technologies/testing framework is not necessary. A strong understanding of web development and automated testing standards is mandatory.
- Should have previous experience of managing a team.
